Our responsibility
The environment
Awareness of the fragility of our enviroment and an understanding and genuine culture of concern is nurtured in our day to day operations. We have not only been reactive but pro-active in our approach to the environmental issues of our world. Some nine years ago we implemented the “Solutions to Pollution” policy, in consultation with the Printing Industry and in conjunction with local government.
It is our continual pursuit to eliminate or reduce the volume and levels of any waste and to ensure the proper storage, recycling and disposal. Becoming more efficient in our use of natural resources including waste and energy strategies, we operate a full recycling policy and procedure for the disposal of all paper and cardboard waste.
Our community
During the life of our company, Greg Tapp Printing has nurtured important relationships with community service organisations and charities.
We assist, with product support and other instruments to some of our region’s wonderful institutions. Some are small, some are large, all are important in the benefit and social environment of our community. It is our view that supporting these organisations is vital to maintaining and improving on social conditions in the region and abroad. We commit our services and support to these valuable organisations.
Safety
Our policy is to provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment, equipment and systems for all employees. We provide information, training and supervision as necessary for this purpose. We accept responsibility for the health and safety of other people who may be affected by our activities. As our business grows and evolves in nature and size, we are reminded of the importance of this and it’s affect on our people. Reviews of our Health and Safety are undertaken each year to ensure that we meet the needs of our people and our organisation.
